What does Criogas, S.A. de C.V. do?
Our company is born from Talleres y Aceros, a leading steel company in Southern Mexico. In January 2010, the construction of the first Air Separation Plant began in the Orizaba region of Veracruz. The commercialization operations begin in June 2011, upon completion of the installation of the Liquefaction Plant. In February 2012, CRIOGAS certifies its processes under the ISO 9001: 2008 Standard. In February, CRIOGAS is certified under ISO 22000: 2005, guaranteeing the safety of our food grade products. In January 2014, our Bajío distribution and filling center began operations, located in Silao, Guanajuato. In October 2014 we started operations of the second ASU (Air Separation Unit) in the Orizaba region; Likewise, sales and technical support operations to customers are started from the Aguascalientes and Mérida distribution centers. In 2015, our branches were opened at the sites of San Luis Potosí and Veracruz. We have the capacity to process more than 2 million cubic meters of air per day, purifying it and producing nitrogen, oxygen and argon, delivering to customers by pipeline, packaging, or in bulk.
