Today Umicore is a global technology and materials recycling group with about 10,400 employees and € 3.3 billion (excluding € 13.7 billion) revenue (excluding sales) in 2018. Umicore generates most of its revenues and devotes most of its R&D efforts to clean technologies such as catalysts for emission control, rechargeable battery materials and recycling.
