SAMOT is a provider of high standard machining services to the most demanding markets in the world. With four production plants, two plants in São Paulo, São Bernardo and Guanajuato, in Mexico, the company implements a management completely focused on the customer.
Our storyFounded in 1960 by Tomislav Jancar, better known as Mr. Tomas, Samot started offering services to serve the then newly established automobile industry in Brazil. The company has followed the growth and development of the sector and currently provides complete machining solutions with world-class results.
Samot serves all segments, such as the automotive, aerospace, war and auto parts industries, always focusing on quality in full compliance with requirements and delivery times.
Samot offers machining services from aluminum, brass and steel bars in the most different alloys, and forged, cast and micro-cast blanks, in addition to internal processes such as hard anodizing surface treatment and induction heat treatment. Totally self-sufficient in aluminum, the company has a rebar production unit in several alloys.
Samot offers a complete production structure, from the development of raw materials to the delivery of the final product, supported by a team of specialized professionals and high performance equipment.
Samot's main production processes are: turning, milling, grinding, gear milling, broaching, drilling, rolling, induction heat treatment, electrolytic deburring and hard anodizing.

The parts reproduced by Samot are used in brake systems, engine, shock absorber, steering, air conditioning, electronic injection - diesel / gas and gasoline / alcohol - among others.COMPLETE STRUCTURE OF PRODUCTION
SAMOT develops processes for machined production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, in addition to anodizing and heat treatment. The company operates productive processes for turning, milling, grinding, broaching, drilling, rolling, induction heat treatment, electrolytic deburring and hard anodizing.Self-sufficient in aluminum through Altref, a group company, we also offer aluminum casting, extrusion, drawing and heat treatment, producing rebars and profiles in various alloys.
We offer a complete production structure - from the development of the raw material to the delivery of the final product - backed by a team of specialized professionals, high performance equipment and the flexibility and autonomy provided by the own production of tools and devices. Using state-of-the-art technology, its engineering team creates and executes tailor-made projects with high quality standards.

A park to meet every need
SAMOT has 3 plants in Brazil and one in Mexico. These units, whose installed machining capacity is 6,000 tonnes / year (scalable to 13,500 tonnes / year), gather around 1000 employees, include their own engineering and tooling and a foundry that gives them self-sufficiency in aluminum.
CERTIFICATIONS
SAMOT holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications for all four of its plants. In addition, two machining plants are certified by IATF 16949 certification. The company is also prepared to meet the specific requirements of each customer in terms of quality and documentation.
